Last week I got 3 more face paintings done. Monday I went to Darling Harbor with a girl from Germany and we had two probelems annoying us. First of all I seem to attrackt annoying children, because we were surrounded by 15 yelling boys for an hour. The second problem was the sun. It was actually too bright for taking good photos, so we had to wait for big clouds to show up and give us some shade. On Sunday I wanted to go to the blue Mountains with a friend, but we didn’t go there, but walked around in Sydney and some cool markets until we found our way to a small nationalpark in one of the most expensive suburbs in Sydney. The houses were insanely big and expensive looking, but the park was really down to earth and had some good views in the City. So we got a painting done on the coast and we were so into what was happening, that we were surprised by the flood coming back. So by the end of the shooting I was standing halfway in the ocean. On the next day, the good weather was spoiling us and we’ve had a perfect blue Skye when I started another painting in the botanical gardens. I wanted to find a good spot in the park with a good view on the flying foxes in the trees (which are pretty much everywhere). So it was too funny to listen to some older perople’s conversation who were surprised to see “ one bat in that tree over there”. Appaently they didn’t spot the rest of the hunderets of “bats”. An eager woman corrected them and kept on rambaling that they are flying foxes and bats are evolutionary older blab la…
So over all a pretty productive art week
